Our Committee has reviewed the Policy. Government COVI-19 requirements do not require people to be double vaccinated to attend premises, and do not require vaccination passes to be sighted. We have therefore decided to withdraw our policy effective from 8am tomorrow 5th April. Our outside door will now be open every morning from (or 9am at the latest) and will close at 7pm or when Clubs Hastings close if that is later.
Dave Porteous - Secretary
KIA TOA BOWLING CLUB
The Kia Toa Executive held a general meeting on the evening of 12 April where we discussed the COVID vaccine passes issue.
The Executive have decided that in line with the Central Governments advise that vaccine passes will no longer be required as part of the COVID – 19 protection framework, Kia Toa has removed the necessity for club members and visitors to provide COVID vaccine passes when at the clubs facilities. However, the wearing of masks is still encouraged inside when not eating or drinking.
This decision takes effect immediately.
James Ludlam – President
Bowls Napier has withdrawn its "COVID Vaccination Policy"
Non vaccinated members are welcome at the club. Masks are not a requirement but are optional. Basically COVID is now part of our normal Health & Safety routine.
Members can still scan in if they wish.
If anything changes we can very quickly re-introduce a suitable policy.
