Results from HB v GEC fixture played at Wairoa

A successful trip to Wairoa on Waitangi day saw us bring home the Trophy. Playing against a very skillful and well organised Gisborne East Coast side.

Our ability to step up in the last round of pairs with convincing wins from all four pairings was encouraging for the future and enabled overall victory, combining the women’s scores.

The men had 8 wins and 2 losses overall.

The men were dominant, and overall HB won despite the Women being pipped.

With that hit-out behind them, the development teams are now off to the Hexagonal in Taranaki on Friday, while the Senior teams are at the Octagonal in Wellington.
