• Funding: Because of the huge expense involved with the following events, Bowls HB has sent a letter to Bowls NZ and all Central Zone centres - requesting that the format for Intercentre, Interclub and National Clubs Championships revert to the previous Regional qualifying (i.e. GEC, Wairarapa, Manawatu & HB) – OR more favourably, that “a central ZONE (eight teams), qualifying system for all National events be structured – with the TWO top teams to contest the National finals” of all events.

• Presentation of Trophies and end-of-season function:

The Board propose an end of year prize giving function at Bowls Napier with the presentation of prizes from 4.30pm to 6.30pm.  Music will commence from 6.30pm with the function to conclude at 10.30pm.  It is proposed to have a continuous supper.

• Training for new Umpires and Measurers will begin shortly.
