Preview: Featuring this coming weekend at BOWLS HASTINGS!
Because of inclement weather BHB Women’s Champion of Champion Junior Singles and Men’s COC Junior pairs will be played at Bowls Hastings’ indoor stadium on Saturday 13th May.
Sunday will see the Men’s Junior Singles and the women’s junior pairs played at the same venue.
ALL four rounds will be played, therefore these events will not be part of the Finals day scheduled for 27/28 May.
Last year’s winners:• Burnett Cup (COC Women’s Junior Singles) – Sheryl Viggers (Taradale).• Alma & Stan Watson Cup (Men’s COC Junior Pairs – Lyndon Carrington and Mike Phillips (Bowls Heretaunga – now Bowls Hastings)• BHB Cup (COC Women’s Pairs) - Trish McGrail and Liz Fitch (Napier).• Olney Cup (COC Men’s Junior Singles) - Paul Viggers (Taradale).
Spectators/fellow bowlers – keep dry, plus enjoy the warmth and hospitality at Bowls Hastings indoor stadium while supporting the newer members of YOUR club this weekend!
